GMC uses the same air cleansing process used by the Mayo Clinic, Harvard University, and the White House.
Everyone on campus is encouraged and expected to wear masks whenever social distancing is not feasible.
Classrooms have limited occupancy and have been configured to maintain social distancing protocol.
Mandatory use of hand sanitizer and regular hand washing are expected of students, faculty and staff.
Doors and door handles, tabletops, handrails, light switches, and other surfaces are cleaned frequently.

What You Will Learn
Students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to solve complex problems.
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate intelligence data and information from various domestic and international sources.
- Demonstrate knowledge of historical, contemporary, and emerging issues within the field of homeland security.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the constitutional, ethical, and legal principles in the field of homeland security and emergency management.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the inter- and intra-agency collaborative relationships between local, state, and federal governments with the Department of Homeland Security.
- Demonstrate an understanding of cybersecurity that includes federal networks, critical infrastructure, cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity threats, and how these threats relate to homeland security.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills.

The life skills you learn at Georgia Military College deliver a benefit far beyond your two years here.
GMC provides housing for all male and female boarding cadets in Baugh Barracks.
Rooms are arranged in a series of suites with two cadets per room with an interconnecting private bathroom. All rooms have internet connectivity.
The dormitory also has a computer lab, game room, and free laundry facilities.

State Service Scholarship
The State Service Scholarship program provides qualified Georgia Residents with a full scholarship to attend Georgia Military College as Cadets in the Corps of Cadets while serving part-time in the Georgia National Guard.
The recipients of this extraordinary scholarship are selected for not only their academic abilities but also their potential as future leaders in the Georgia National Guard.
This program provides for up to 42 new full scholarship awards annually, based on state funding allocations. We accept new applications for any new term.
