GMC transient students can enroll for a single term, complete their coursework, & then seamlessly return to their home institution.
GMC transient students can enroll for a single term, complete their coursework, & then seamlessly return to their home institution.
Transient college credits allow you to temporarily enroll at GMC, complete the courses you need, and transfer those credits back to your current institution. This is a perfect solution for students who can’t get into certain classes at their home institution due to limited availability or scheduling conflicts.
Transient students have temporary permission from another school to attend GMC for a specific time frame (usually one term). Many of our transient students enjoy the convenience of our 8-week quarter system, which allows you to complete required classes in a shorter time frame and stay on track toward earning your degree—without the stress of falling behind.
Instead of a transcript, a transient student must provide transient authorization (usually a letter or form) from their primary institution’s registrar’s office. This authorization should list the courses the student may take at GMC as well as when the courses should be taken.
